The luxury train, Golden Chariot is run under the proper vigilance of both Karnataka Government and Karnataka State Tourism Develop Corporation; covering the major Southern part of India likely Bangalore, Chennai, Kabini, Mysore, Hassan, Hampi, Badami and Goa. The train was nominated as the Golden Chariot after the stone Chariot in the Vitthala temple. One can easily recognize the train by spotting the purple and gold color in the entire train. The logo of two similar mythological animals having head of elephant and a body of a lion symbolizes the train.

The luxury train Golden Chariot offers 11 coaches and 44 cabins which are well furnished and provide world class accommodation. Each cabin is named by the rulers of the state Karnataka who ruled the region namely Kadamba, Rashtrakuta, Hoysala, Ganga, Bahamani, Chalukya, Adil Shahi, Satavahana, Sangama, Vijayanagar and Yadukula.

The religious place Badami is famous for its rock cut and structural temple, situated in the Bagalkot district, Karnataka. Badami cave temples are a set of four other soft sandstone temples which are belong to the Chalukya period.

On arrival at Bengaluru, you will be transferred to Taj West End Hotel for check-in formalities of Golden Chariot. After the brief tour presentation with a hot coffee you will be taken to visit Chitrakala Parishad and art gallery. After that you will indulge some of your time in wathing cultural program of the city.
As you arrive at Yeshwantpur Railway Station, you will get a traditional welcome over there and after that you will approach to your respected cabin. At night Golden Chariot will depart for Mysore and you will take your dinner on the board.
As you will finish your morning breakfast you will reach Mysore Railway station. There you will be transferred to an AC vehicle with your belongings. The vehicle will drive you towards one of the resorts near the Nagarhole Tiger Reserve.
After having your lunch you will approach to Kabini sanctuary. This is a great forest where you can explore the wildness of the forest and will get close to the wild animals and birds of the forest. Tonight take your dinner at resort and go for sleep.
Get up early in the morning and enjoy the boat riding or jungle excursion in Mysore. After that take your breakfast, check out from the resort and reach the Mysore railway station by the AC car. At afternoon take your lunch at Golden Chariot and move to visit the beautiful Mysore Palace and Srirangapatnam Fort of the city at leisure you can go for the local shopping market.
In the evening after watching a wonderful cultural show you will reach Lalita Mahal Palace hotel to have your dinner. At night return back to your train and sleep well.
Today morning Golden Chariot will arrive at Hassan Railway station. On arrival you will visit Shravanabelogola which is situated in the high range from the land where you will watch the great architectural marble of the past. Return back to the train and take your lunch. At noon you will visit 12th centurys famous Hoysala temple of Belur and two another great temple of Halebedu, Hoysaleshawara temple and Kedareshwara temple.
Come back to your train and leave for the city, Hampi. Enjoy your on board dinner.
Early morning you will reach Hospet railway station. After breakfast move for the sightseeing of the town Hampi where you will visit Virupaksha temple, local craft market and the bathing place of the ancient queen of the town. Come back to the train for lunch; rest for a while and again move for the other sightseeing of the place like Hazara Rama Temple, Royal enclosure and Vittala Temple. Return back to Golden Chariot in the night and have your dinner.
Morning, the train will leave for Badami. After your arrival at Badami railway station, take your breakfast and drive to explore the surprising caves of Badami and the archaeological museum of the city. Take a healthy lunch in train and depart for the beach city Goa. Rest of the time you will be relaxed by a luxury spa treatment or you can upgrade your fitness level, working out at Gym which is built inside the Golden Chariot. Take your dinner and in the midnight you will reach Goa.
Have your morning breakfast and later move for the full day sightseeing of the city. Dont miss to visit the beautiful Goa Catholic Church then you can visit the Old Portuguese house. After lunch you will visit the breathtaking views of Goa beaches and take a pool dip then move to Majorda Beach resort to have an Ayurvedic massage. In the evening leave the resort; come back to your train and have your dinner on board. Tonight you will leave for your starting destination of your tour Bangalore.
